Walker, oil on anodized aluminum, January 2008



The appearance of translucent silver paint over the black anodized aluminum surface varies a great deal depending upon the light source, as you can see from the following two pictures (flourescent on the left, incandescent on the right). The aluminum is also highly reflective - the slightly warmer color in the center of the picture above is actually an attenuated refection of my face and hands.
